speaker's bureau
The Washington State Society SAR has established what we call a, "Speaker’s Bureau". This Bureau involves SAR members who have a passion and talent to share our patriotic history and promote the goals of SAR - Patriotism, History, and Education.
This is a free service and our speakers are available to present at schools, churches, and civic associations.
Patrot Chest Program
The SAR Patriot Chest is an interactive presentation, intended to compliment Elementary and Middle School lesson plans on the Revolutionary War and Colonial Period of American History.
The program's purpose is to bring that history alive, while providing students with a sense of the times and life of the Patriot men and women who founded our nation.
Often, period items such as clothing, toys, currency, hunting/military, household, and documents are availabe for students to view or touch.
We speak to a variety of ages and audiences: elementary, junior high, high school and adult about topics which are wide-ranging and can be customized to your classroom or group’s specific needs.
Below you can find our Speakers and the programs they share. Consider contacting them and scheduling a presentation!
Did you know we also offer Contests & Awards for students of various ages?
