Chapter

Serving tacoma

Our chapter was organized February 20, 1896. We participate in the annual wreath laying ceremony at the George Washington statue on the University of Washington campus to honor George Washington. Our chapter Color Guard takes part in the annual Massing of the Colors, welcomes home those Honor Flight veterans returning from Washington D.C., is prominent at parades throughout the Puget Sound region and Memorial events that honor those in the military. Every year Chapter members present ROTC medals and certificates to the JROTC High School and University ROTC cadets having a high degree of leadership qualities, military bearing, and general excellence. We participate in community outreach programs that educate students about the American Revolution and Confederation period.
