2025 State conference

APRIL 25 & 26

SEATAC, wa
Our annual conferences offer a unique opportunity to connect with fellow members and celebrate our shared history and patriotism. This event promises a mix of engaging activities, recognition of compatriot accomplishments, educational workshops, and historical discussions, all while enjoying the camaraderie of our society.
We especially encourage newer members to attend, as it's a fantastic way to meet others, learn about our ongoing work, and discover ways to get involved. Don’t miss out on this exciting chance to deepen your connection with SAR! Host Chapter | Alexander Hamilton

FAQs

Can I attend without staying at the Marriott overnight?
Absolutely! For those who wish to stay at home at night and still attend the Conference sessions, you are welcome to do so.
Do I have to register or can I just show up?
You MUST register in advance, which means completing the registration form and remitting your payment. In addition to compatriots, a $15 registration fee (which covers both days) is also required for each guest you include on your registration form.
What's going on at the Conference that would interest me?
This is a once-every-year opportunity to learn more about SAR through some excellent educational sessions, participate in the conduct of business at the Members Meeting (including election of officers for the next two years), attend the Color Guard and Society of 1812 meetings, and meet compatriots from the ten chapters across our State.
Should I still plan on eating at the Marriott?
Yes! Our catered meals are some of the main events for the Conference. At our Friday night dinner, we honor our first-place youth and teacher winners in the various contests. Saturday mid-day is our Annual Awards Luncheon. And Saturday night is our traditional banquet with ceremonial pageantry, toasts and greetings, the keynote talk by our national guest, and camaraderie. Please sign up for all three catered meals!
Is there any additional cost for attending the sessions and not staying overnight?
There is a daily $16 parking fee (plus tax) that you will pay when you exit the Marriott parking lot. However, if you sleep at home, you will be avoiding the $155/night (plus tax) room rate as well as a $25/night (plus tax) overnight parking fee. If you do the math, you'll see it's a bargain!
IF YOU LIVE IN THE GREATER SEATTLE AREA AND DO NOT WISH TO STAY OVERNIGHT AT THE MARRIOTT, NO PROBLEM! PLEASE REGISTER AND ATTEND ALL OF OUR EVENTS WHETHER OR NOT YOU LODGE AT THE MARRIOTT!
